YOUR PLAY, YOUR DEVICE
Privacy Policy
This site does not ask you to create an account or share personal details.
Game progress
Game progress, hint use and local results may be saved in your browser's local storage. They are not synced to an account or sent to a game database. Clearing this site's browser data removes that progress.
Statistics and advertising
This site has no advertising or external fonts. On pooplegame.fun we use Umami Cloud for aggregate traffic statistics; it sets no cookies and records only page views and basic device/browser details with a six-month retention in the US region. Optional Google Analytics loads only after you allow analytics. The local stats panel uses activity stored on this device. Use Privacy choices in the footer to accept, decline or withdraw Google Analytics consent; Umami traffic statistics do not require a choice.
Hosting
The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare processes web requests and may handle technical connection and security data as part of providing the hosting service. See Cloudflare's privacy policy ↗.
Feedback and sharing
The contact page can open your email app or copy a draft. It does not send a message by itself. If you send email to support@pooplegame.fun, your email address, message and any attachments are handled by your email provider, Cloudflare Email Routing and the operator's receiving email provider. The operator can read that correspondence to address your request. Avoid sending passwords, payment details or other sensitive information. Sharing a game result uses your device's sharing options or clipboard after you press the share button.
Future changes
This notice applies to this site. Optional analytics is described below. Any future website submission form or advertising will require an updated notice before those features are enabled.
Optional analytics and your choice
On pooplegame.fun, you can allow or decline Google Analytics. Until you allow it, this site does not load the Google Analytics script or send Google Analytics measurement requests. Declining does not remove game features. Preview addresses do not load this site's Google Analytics measurement code.
After you allow analytics, Google receives page views and events such as starting and completing a puzzle, using a hint, revealing an answer and finding a solver route. Event details can include the game mode, puzzle identifier, move count and hint level. We do not send typed solver routes, feedback text, names or email addresses in these events. Google also processes technical data associated with the request, such as browser and approximate location information.
To understand how visitors arrive, we send the page path, referring website domain when available, and limited campaign labels in utm_source, utm_medium and utm_campaign. Other query parameters and URL fragments are omitted from the page address we supply to analytics. Missing referral information stays unknown. A ChatGPT campaign label or referral does not prove a natural recommendation; our own tests are marked separately.
Your consent choice is stored on this device for up to 180 days. If you accept, Google Analytics can set _ga cookies with a configured lifetime of up to 180 days. Use Privacy choices in the footer to change your decision. Withdrawing stops further analytics from this page, removes the site's accessible Google Analytics cookies and reloads the page. It does not remove game progress or automatically delete data already received by Google.
Advertising consent remains denied, Google signals and advertising personalization are disabled in our tag configuration, and no player account or User-ID is sent. Google explains its processing at How Google uses information from sites ↗. Questions about this site's handling can be sent through Contact.
Local play and browser storage
The game uses your browser to check moves and calculate routes. Accepted vocabulary and practice data are delivered with the page. Entering a word into the game or solver does not, by itself, submit a support message. The local result panel and practice review list should not be confused with an online account or a server-side player profile.
Local storage can include puzzle progress, selected practice options and results used by the local statistics display. Storage belongs to the browser profile and site address. Another device or browser will not automatically receive it. A private session or browser setting may prevent storage from working, and clearing this site's data may remove saved progress and review history.
If you want to remove locally saved play data, use your browser's site-data controls for this site. Check the selected site before deleting anything, because clearing all browser data also affects unrelated websites. Restarting one puzzle is a separate action and need not erase every stored local result.
Messages you choose to send
If you send an email to the contact address shown on this site, the message can include your sender address, the text you write, attachments and the technical information attached by the email services involved. Those services process the message to deliver and store it. An email is separate from words entered into the game board.
Use a short report containing only what is needed to understand the problem. There is normally no reason to include a password, payment information, an identity document, a full browser-history export or another person's private messages. Crop account details and unrelated tabs from screenshots before attaching them.
A copy-feedback control prepares text on your device; copying alone does not send it. Opening an email draft also gives you an opportunity to review its contents before sending. Once you choose to send through your email service, that service's own processing and retention settings apply as well.
To ask about a previous support message, identify the approximate sending date and subject through the contact channel. Do not resend sensitive attachments simply to identify a conversation. This notice does not promise a deletion schedule or immediate removal from every email provider's backups.
Hosting and external links
Loading the site requires a network request to its host, Cloudflare Pages. Requests can expose technical information such as the requested address, network address and browser information to the infrastructure serving the page. Hosting and security records are distinct from a website analytics tag or the local game-statistics panel.
Cloudflare describes its own processing in its privacy policy ↗. Cloudflare may also add a performance measurement script to record page loading and connection performance. Hosting and performance processing is separate from the optional Google Analytics choice; that choice controls this site's Google tag.
Links to the original game, word-list source or other external information take you to another service. The destination may have different cookies, accounts, advertising and privacy rules. Read that service's notice before sending information there. External sites do not become part of this project's local-storage system because they are linked from an explanation.
Scope of this notice
This notice describes the current site. Optional analytics is available on the formal domain as described above. Advertising, paid accounts and a live daily subscription are not offered. The notice and relevant controls will be updated if those features change.
You can use the game without creating a player account, read the project and dictionary information, or review the terms and gameplay limitations. Questions about data handling should describe the feature involved so they can be distinguished from a request to reset local progress or correct a word.
Clipboard and sharing choices
Copying a result, feedback draft or contact address puts the chosen text on your device's clipboard. Clipboard behavior then depends on your device and applications. For example, a device may offer clipboard synchronization or retain a clipboard history. Review those settings separately if you are using a shared device; clearing this website's local storage does not necessarily clear the device clipboard.
A sharing control may open the device's share sheet or fall back to copying text. You choose a destination there. A result shared to a group, social account or document becomes available according to that destination's settings. Check whether the copied result includes the start, target or complete solution before posting it where other players may want to avoid spoilers.
The feedback controls do not require access to your mailbox to prepare a note. The email application decides which sender account to use. If several accounts are configured, check the From field before sending so you do not accidentally use a work or shared address.
Choose the action that matches your data request
Removing local game progress, withdrawing a draft and asking about a sent email affect different places. To reset information saved by the game, use the relevant game control or this site's browser-data settings. To discard an unsent email, use the email application's draft controls. Clearing game progress does not recall an email you already sent.
For a question about correspondence held by the operator, write from the same address where practical and describe the message by its approximate date and subject. Explain whether you want to correct information, ask what was received or request removal of an attachment. Do not send extra identity documents as a routine part of that request; an issue can often be identified from the existing conversation.
The operator cannot directly erase local game data on your device or remove copies from a recipient you independently selected in a share sheet. Your email service may also keep its own sent or deleted copies. A request about this site's correspondence should therefore identify that correspondence rather than assume that one action will clear every related copy everywhere.
On a shared phone or computer, another person using the same browser profile may see local progress or an unfinished draft. Closing a tab is different from clearing saved data or signing out of an email application. Review the device's actual state before leaving it for someone else.
